The
Prestwick name commemorates the famous Scottish Golf Course that was
designed by historic architect and golfer Old Tom Morris in 1851. The
Prestwick Golf Club hosted the very first British Open Championship in
1860. The scene on the front of this vanity with the golfer in his
knickers evokes thoughts about the golf game in its formative years. The
chest has a beautiful brown stain finish with a false drawer at the top
and three functional drawers. The standard china oval bowl carries out
the golf theme with ten pair of golf clubs positioned around the inside
of the bowl and "fired" in the ceramic glaze. The unit is available with
a cast stone top or a "sealed" wooden top. If you live on a gold course;
near a golf course or have ever played golf the "Prestwick" is a great
piece to decorate around for a room with a golf theme in a finished
lower level or a powder room. The matching brown stain, beveled mirror
with replica golf balls in each corner is a great accessory. Also, see
our other golf themed vanity the "Pinehurst." |
